"We've Outgrown It" Spring Sale

Rules and Regulations

About the Sale

The sale is organized by the Newfoundland & Labrador Multiple Births Association (NLMBA) as a place that members of the community can sell gently used children and infant items.  All proceeds from registration, admission fees and NLMBA sale tables will go toward the NLMBA’s work in supporting the multiples community here in the province. It is through our fundraising efforts that we are able to provide print material, our new and expectant parent series, advocacy work, peer to peer support and much more to our members.

We are dedicated to transparency and accountability for all our fundraising initiatives so that our membership and supporters know where their donations end up. Thanks in advance for all your support!

About Selling

Anyone is welcome to sell their gently used children’s clothing, equipment and toys. In order to do so you must register prior to the sale.  There will be a charge for tables $15 for NLMBA members; $20 for non-members. You will be responsible for setting up, selling and clean up of your own items. As we have limited space, tables will be assigned on a first registered, first paid basis. To register as a vendor, please contact us at info@nlmba.org

Vendor Registration

All vendors, are required to register for each sale. To complete your registration you are required to drop off or email in your registration form and fee to ensure your space at the sale. Registration deadline will be April 20, 2016.

Acceptable Items

Any infant or children’s item is eligible to be sold (excluding carseats and cribs), so prepare for the sale as early as you can. Adult clothing (with the exception of maternity clothes) will not be accepted.

Please read the following guidelines to help you organize and prepare your items for sale:

Equipment/Toys

  • All items must be cleaned and in working condition with all pieces included. Instructions should be attached (if available).

  • All hardware must be securely attached to any furniture items.

  • The tag on swings, strollers, and high chairs has to read “As is”.

  • Please leave batteries inside a toy if applicable so shoppers can see how it works.

  • If there are more pieces to one toy attach the smaller ones securely to the big parts.

  • You can group small toys like cars, rattles, etc. together and put them in a Ziploc bag.

  • Videos should be sealed in packages with tape, elastic bands, etc.

  • Puzzles must have all the pieces and be in good condition and sealed in a clear bag or original box.

  • Please make sure all straps, snaps and fasteners on infant carriers and slings are in good working condition.

  • Toys like houses, kitchen sets or climbers are easier if they are not assembled. For showing purposes attach a picture!

Pricing

Use your best judgment on pricing items. Price brand names accordingly. Take into consideration what condition the item is in. A good ballpark for clothes is 1/2 of original price if in excellent shape.
