ABOUT the NLMBA

The Newfoundland and Labrador Multiple Births Association (NLMBA) is a non-profit organization supporting parents and guardians of twins, triplets, and higher order multiples who reside in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Our mission is to provide our members with support and encouragement as they raise their multiples, from birth to teens, and every age and step in between. We provide advocacy and awareness of the unique challenges that parents of multiples face.

We encourage all parents of multiples to register as a member of the NLMBA. Becoming an active member of the NLMBA allows us to support our families of multiples in the province through programming, advocacy and social events.

Membership benefits include discounts with various businesses and services, peer support, e-newsletters, playgroups, library resources, regular parent meets and special events throughout the year.

We are dedicated to transparency and accountability for all our fundraising initiatives so that our membership and supporters know where their donations end up. Thank you in advance for all your support!

The Newfoundland and Labrador Multiple Births Association is a regional chapter of Multiple Births Canada. Multiple Births Canada's (MBC) mission is to improve the quality of life for multiple births individuals and their families in Canada. MBC fulfills their mission by providing support, education, research and advocacy, both nationally and internationally, to individuals, families, Chapters, and associations that have a personal or professional interest in multiple birth issues. When you register as a member with NLMBA, you are also a member of MBC and eligible to access all of their resources and supports.

So one membership gives you access to two great organizations!
